Since the start of the 21st Century, Africa has experienced a significant boost, especially the poorest countries on the continent.
With the exception of South Africa, the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa achieved annual growth rates of 6.2%. By comparison, that is twice the growth rate seen in Latin America during the same period of time.

Today in VisualPolitik EN we'll be talking about the countries that are taking off in Africa!

Remember Africa is a continent not a country... Stop generizing us...... If there's a terrorist bombing in Germany no one says Europe has been bombed

The biggest problem was capital n free enterprise, n now they r getting both. As Africa rises it will be the resuscitation of the global market, I just hope they get their due credit when it happens.

One of the main reasons is that being politically independent they are no longer under colonial oppression and exploitation.

And in addition to that new major world players like China and India are really helping Africa to build themselves ( of course, these countries are not doing some charities there either) through fair and just economic deals which is benefitting both the sides.

As always, great content and very annoying guitar blaring in the background. This video’s shutter speed was annoying too.

everyone thinks that dictators is a major issue in the economic growth of countries, explain china to me, do they have democracy ? democracy is just a philosophy, even though i think freedom is the moral thing to do i don't think that democracy is the only way to achieve freedom.

China was smart. White countries paid for everything while China incentivized Africans with infrastructure, business, trade, loans, education, citizenship and more. White countries will lose to china in terms of influence and power because for so long we used brute strength and bribery while china used opportunity and intelligence.

Good work, Africa!
One thing have changed in the last 20 years is related to China. China is a new major player start taking positive impacts in Africa - One Belt One Road plan. Unlike the previous western colonization, China supports Africa by fund and infrastructures.
The funny thing now is, Westerns are spreading the idea that China is colonizing and doing harms to Africa, totally ignoring what are happening and what happened in history.

Dubai is a very different place from any other in the Persian Gulf. Its economy isn’t based on oil, natural gas or any other raw material, but mainly on tourism, transport, trade and finance.

But, despite not being rich in natural resources, in the last four decades, Dubai became one of the most prosperous places in history. The tallest building in the world, the largest shopping mall, the largest airport, the most luxurious hotel. You can find everything here.

However, 2018 hasn’t exactly been this emirate’s happiest year. Today more and more analysts are wondering whether Dubai is about to undergo a huge crisis.

And this is, precisely, the main question. Will Dubai be losing its shine?
