Happy Medical Monday (which isn’t every Monday, and sometimes isn’t on Monday, but I try my best) 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🚑
PS Why do people in these videos have 2 letter initials for names? It’s a didactic tradition in presenting case reports. It lightly de-identifies the patient while upholding their humanity. They are, and will always be, more than just “the patient.” Thanks for watching :)

Loved my chem class. Fascinating field of study. It's difficult to comprehend that this tiny amount of exposure could wreak such horrific damage and chaos on the human body. Tragic story and an immense loss. RIP K

Great informative video, but why your tune is so angry and aggressive, you would fail as an MD in future if you continue the same manner...

When I was 10, I broke a thermometer on the bathroom sink! (the old kind, glass thermometer). I was afraid I'd get in trouble so I tried to clean it up. Found out ya can't pick up mercury, dispite my efforts. I always felt like I got poisioned that day when I learned what it was. This video creeps me out!

OK, I give up. Did she die, or is she still alive but impaired?

These cases are patients who I, or my colleagues have seen. They are de-identified and many instances have been presented in more depth in an academic setting. These videos are not individual medical advice and are for general educational purposes only. I do not give medical advice over the internet, see your own physician in person for that.
