The Big Bang theory and the Bible are in complete agreement.

This segment was featured in the Times of Israel blog, "Context":

Dr. David Neiman (1921-2004) was an internationally renowned scholar, speaker, and writer who inspired many people. His life's work concerned the intricate relations between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism throughout history and in modern times. Dr. Neiman made history come alive through his dramatic presentations and unique interpretations. In light of our current world situation, Dr. Neiman's work is not only extremely relevant but also remarkably prescient. More than anything, Dr. Neiman was a keen observer of the human condition. His words convey our shared history with clarity, humor, and humanity.

Dr. Neiman was the first Jewish scholar appointed to teach Religion at Boston College, one of America's leading Catholic Universities. He served as Professor in the Department of Theology for a quarter of a century. While there he was also invited to teach at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. After retiring from Boston College, Dr.Neiman moved to Los Angeles, where he taught at Loyola Marymount University, St. John' s Seminary in Camarillo and the University of Judaism in Bel Air.

So we got a Jew teaching Roman Catholicism ( the big bang "theory" invented by Jesuit priest George Lemaintre and endorsed by Einstein and the Popes)

Orr =light electro magnetic energy which modern physics has shown all physical matter and energy is made of.

HaShem recreates all physical matter each second of each Torah. Quantum mechanics .

The first two days in Bereshis (Genesis) HaShem did not create Stars Sun Moon 24/7/365 "time" therefore the first two days could be billions of years . Many Ravs have this opinion in Zohar and Talmud. Shalom

Think of it more broadly. "Let there be light" is a more accurate description of creation than the other contemporary theories.

The creation of photons is the limite point from which we can't see anymore futher in the past of the big bang but... that doesn't mean it was the first thing created. Besides... if the interactions were all together then you can't talk of light and... what about spacetime and gravity?????

07 Crusades: The Jewish Predicament The Big Bang 2 months ago   06:01

The Church used Jews as middle men to facilitate financial transactions that were prohibited by Church law. This position in society allies the Jews with the higher classes and creates resentment among the poor. Jews were favored by higher level clergy and vilified by local priests and monks. The first Crusade included devastating attacks on the established Jewish communities of Mainz, Worms and Speyer.
