Labour MP Dennis Skinner has been suspended from Parliament for the day for calling the Prime Minister "dodgy Dave". He was speaking in the Commons after David Cameron went there to defend his own financial affairs in the wake of the so-called Panama Papers scandal. The Commons Speaker John Bercow asked Dennis Skinner to withdraw his use of the term "dodgy" but the MP repeated the word - forcing Mr Bercow to eject him from the Commons.

THERESA May is today set to SCRAP the Commons vote on her Brexit deal in a humiliating climbdown.

MPs were due to vote on the withdrawal agreement tomorrow night.

But as she faced a huge defeat with dozens of MPs rebelling, Mrs May is expected to pull the planned vote.

The PM will make an announcement to the House of Commons this afternoon where she will lay out the next steps.

It's not yet clear when, if ever, the Brexit deal vote will end up taking place instead...
