The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe that is centered on a series of superhero films, independently produced by Marvel Studios and based on characters that appear in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The franchise has expanded to include comic books, short films, television series, and digital series. The shared universe, much like the original Marvel Universe in comic books, was established by crossing over common plot elements, settings, cast, and characters. Phil Coulson, portrayed by Clark Gregg, is an original character to the MCU and the only character to appear across all its different media.

Who is your favorite MCU villain?
Also.....GREY WINS!!!
Hawk Pants
Looking back now it’s 7 movies in a row that had great villains, Captain Marvel had two amazing antagonists in two separate sections of the movie
Harry Thompson
I hate Loki he's a douche
Captain America: winter soldier is my favorite Mcu film.
Vinícius Ferreira
You know who my favorite villain is? Callisto from Xena the Warrior Princess. Now THAT was a villain who enjoyed being bad for the sake of being bad
Metaluigi Dahedgehog 28
You're talking about how Marvel never started making good villains until 2017? No Zemo? To me, he felt like the first really good villain after Loki.
Harry Mathers
I wish we got a good doctor doom
Harry Mathers
HEY! Ronin was intentional...
captain marvel killed the streak cause the movie was ok/good but there were no real villains and the few ones were REALLY REALLY BAD
Drakk #AnimeNakamas
And Jude Law screw this video... But yeah, six in a row is amazing
Derek Night
Right because Abomination wasn’t smiling tearing Harlem a new one.
Martin Hodges
Did they even give Jeff Goldblum a script? Or did they just pull him off the street, dress him up and plop him in front of the camera?
Edward Kelstrup
I think one of the things that really helps is the main characters are well established. We KNOW Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow. We understand them. We know who they are. Less focus can be maintained on them while more focus is put on the villain. But practice makes perfect, I suppose, as they know now how to really flesh out their villains.
Kazi Nadbir Alam Adit
Then they fell flat on its face with captain marvel.
Eleven Eleven
Did you serious put Green Rita as a good villain?
Daniela Morera
....hela was super weak imo. I dont even remember what her motivation was which alone says a lot. That was such a rushed movie and it left me feeling underwhelmed despite how huge the events in the movie are.
Jason Case
Is that Pitch Black or Stargate starting 2:00 with the guy that turns around and the metal mask that goess over his face?
Jason Case
I enjoyed the Vulture because he was doing the wrong thing for the right reasons to provide his family, and had the valid point that Tony Stark doesn't care about the little guy which he showed since he could make more money.
That made him a great character you are conflicted because you want him to provide for his family except still want Spider Man to defeat the Vulture except that has the downside or drawback then who will provide for the family.
A Super Villain that is believable for why he believes he's a Good Guy.

Killmonger is a excellent Villain because he has valid points including it's awful that Wakanda doesn't use their advanced technology to help other Countries, and oppressed persons.
Black Panther agreed with his goal of helping oppressed persons and changing the world except not with his methods.
The ends justify the means super villain a Magneto style character that you agree with his admirable great goal except not with his destructive methods.
Loki is a bad villain, good neutral party.
Starlord's dad was a good/great villain.
I can't think of another villain that had good motivation, characterization, and power levels though.
Hella was cool, and neat powers, but sadly they didn't use her charrcter much. Red skull was also like that. was cool but not used much.
otherwise i really can't think of many good villains

Kilmonger I liked that he was just a hurt kid who grew up hurt.
Thanos I didn't dislike and I enjoyed him but I dunno if i would call him a villain.
because End Game movie he was the protag not the avengers. We were being told his story...so he was the hero in his own story and avengers were the villain in that movie. Which was a touch I liked
B A B A- G A N O U S H
I watched infinity war for only loki

Comic books haven’t been exclusively for kids for generations now, but as they’ve crossed over into the mainstream and become major motion picture franchises, now more than ever, superheroes are for everyone. While there have been plenty of family friendly moments in the MCU, there have been a few times when superheroes have been on the dark side.

The more evil the villains, the more evil their acts, the more shocking the consequences and the more imperative the hero saves the day. There are, after all, a lot of orphans filling up the superhero ranks whose parents have been killed. Sometimes, that raise in stakes might be a bit much for some kids, but they make the stories that much larger. Here are some moments in the MCU that might not be for kids.
