TEDx Talks
A nationally acclaimed comic performer, high-performance business consultant, speaker, strategic illustrator and newly minted author, Patti Dobrowolski spends her time focused on new neuroscience discoveries that leverage the power of imagination and visuals to actualize a vision of the future. Dobrowolski works with teams and leaders of Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits around the world to inspire them to create new and different strategies while literally capturing the organization's vision in a 4' x 8' illustration.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Alignment to a single vision threatens the necessary variety that may be needed for dealing with inevitable surprises, especially if tens of thousands of employees within one company are 'aligned' with the boss' vision.

One of the most effective presentations, the material could have more depth though. I still liked it because she used intonation and gestures so well.

Loved your talk , I am s retired jewelry designer and want to complete my tutorial on Teaching my method of designing to others I wish I could go on Ted talk to explain why I feel my 62 years of designing was one of the best things that happened to me. I am a pro and never thought I was good enough until now.

I want to help others to grow faster and learn what I learned in a shorter period of time. Simple 1,2 and 3 your right that works in my field as well. Please look at my You Tube Page Laurence T. Why people believe they can’t Draw your future | Patti 4 months ago   15:04

Why is it that so many people think they can’t draw? Where did we learn to believe that? Graham Shaw will shatter this illusion – quite literally - in a very practical way. He’ll demonstrate how the simple act of drawing has the power to make a positive difference in the world.

Graham specialises in the art of communication and has helped thousands of people to make important presentations. He is perhaps best known for his use of fast cartoon drawings to communicate ideas and is the author of ‘The Art of Business Communication’.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
