I liked the original better than this version. I saw it with my horror movie loving friends, it was bad sorry not sorry so we left after the death of the little girl. It didn't make sense and wrote it differently. The mother's older sister death was scary yet she died in a way dumb which was falling down in the dumpwaiter and how could she get up with a broken back? In the OG, she died in her sleep. I'm only spoiling that much.

I just saw this film today, and it is probably the creepiest movie I've ever seen. And I've seen lots of movies.

But the little girl who played Ellie, Jeté Laurence, was remarkable. She has a tremendous future in the movies, mark my words!
