Just to clarify something Nintendo didnt make playing cards like the standard 52 deck (those were illegal in japan in the 1800s) Nintendo found a loophole on japans gambling laws and created a deck known as hanafuda cards more commonly known by its korean name gostop cards it has 12 suits 4 cards per suit

I don't see how Sears fits the category. The only significant difference between what it started out as and what it became is the addition of more products.

Samsung?
Started as a noodle company.
Adolfo Pena

Youtube was going to be a dating video service, but this was scrapped and they focused on just being a video broadcast service.

I did not know that Yamaha make all that stuff

Toyota. Started a weaver/textile manufacture. Then moved into automobile manufacturing. Still does textiles. Really should have been on the list, way more than the bottom five and way more than Lysol.

Yeah Sony started making rice cookers, and of yet Procter & Gamble started making candles, Sega made Casino games in Hawaii.

Blockbuster should make pizza during the time they are over taking by Netflix, and Nokia should make Android phones instead of putting Microsoft's Windows for phones to really compete with Apple and guess what you left out LG.
Juan Tetzaguic
Nintendo
Gameflyer001
Sony started by selling radios in the postwar era.
Faraaz Khan
F*** Nintendo
Maria Zapata
It's kinda ironic that Hasbro started at school supplies later on became a successful toys business

Am I the only one who thinks that Nintendo didn’t start off as something completely different. I definitely wouldn’t consider playing cards to be completely different to video games. Instead, to me video games are basically the natural evolution of gaming from playing cards. But this is just my opinion and I love the big N either way.

Anyone not know it would be Nintendo?
